CDE login and sdtdbcache_$DISPLAY高手帮我分析一下什么原因？

I am using Digital Unix 4.0F on DEC XP1000 Station. I logged in
fine as root. But when I logged in as another user, I got the
following error message:

"The file /var/tmp/sdtdbcache_$DISPLAY is either missing or empty.
This is most likely due to the file system for /var/tmp being full.
Please use the failsafe session option on the login screen to login
to the system and free up approximately 300 disk blocks in /var to
allow a normal CDE login to succeed."

I tried freeing up space but keep on getting this error message.
Would anybody have any advice for me? Thank you.

用failsafe session option 的方式登陆CDE，删除/var/tmp 下的文件，logout然后再用正常的方式登陆CDE

这个问题我已经解决，重新启动桌面系统，一切正常。
