奇怪的问题？？？

我在linux环境下使用
sp_configure "number of devices",20
go
之后，使用设备号：10，11都是可以的。

但是在solaris下使用同样的命令就不行，显示如下：

之后我添加新的数据库，使用设备号：10，11，就报出错误说超出范围了，说vdevno只能在0－9之间，我真是郁闷，为什么linux下可以，solaris下怎么就不可以了呢？


之后我没有办法就想修改solaris下/opt/sybase/里的xxx.cfg文件，不管用什么用户都不能修改那个文件，这就使我更郁闷了！除此之外还有更奇怪的问题：
我以超级用户登陆查看xxx.cfg是这样的：
number of devices = 20
suspend audit when device full = DEFAULT
以一般用户登陆显示的是这样的：
number of devices = DEFAULT
suspend audit when device full = DEFAULT
这又是为什么呢？

不应该呀。你的sybase是什么版本的？12。0以上.cfg好像应该在ASE目录下。可能还是你的number of devices 改的不对。

solaris下是11.9的
linux下是12.5的

在linux下改都是可以的啊！怎么在solaris下就不行了呢？

应该不至于，你仔细查一下吧

11.9这个是静态参数，应该重起服务的。在solaris下的是不是文件权限设置不对
