怎么配置solaris使用ldap进行用户认证？

我已经修改了nsswitch.conf，但找不到帐号信息。我估计是没有把solaris配置成ldap客户端，用ldapclient配置以后，/var/ldap/ldap_client_file怎么都不会变化，到底怎样才能把solaris配成ldap client啊

Hi, gary.
I setup a Solaris Native LDAP implemention.
And the ldap server used Netscape directory Server 4.2.
and when I setup native ldap client(solaris and most of the things are fine.
But I can't modify the user's password who defined in ldap server db by client's "passwd".

Any advices?

Can you pls upgrade to SUN ONE DS5.2? OLD Netscape DS 4.x may not work well with SUN Native LDAP Client libraries which are quite latest stuffs.

For Solaris8 pls apply 108993 LDAP patch.

Did you use the /etc/pam.conf I recommended in my HOWTO?

Use the following /etc/pam.conf for SUN Solaris Native LDAP client.  This is actually the sample from Solaris10 documentation, with pam_unix_cred.so.1 commented out.
