The Position: Senior Designer

Responsibility:
• To report to the Applications Development Manager to be responsible for the critical financial software applications development;
• To lead a team of Analyst Programmers to develop the software applications;
• To work closely with Business Analyst to finalize and produce the system design for the applications;
• To work closely with the Software Architect to design and construct the software architecture for the applications;
• To lead the team to cover design, coding, testing through the use of standardised development tools, techniques and processes,
• To be responsible for the bug-fixing problem solving and ongoing support for the deployment of the software applications; and
• To produce documentations as defined and required in the project development cycles and deliverables

Requirements:
• Degree in Computer Science or above
• More than 6 years of IT working experience, with at least 3 years in financial and banking industry;
• At least 3 years of strong experiences in Java and J2EE design and programming;
• Strong PL/SQL programming skills and good Oracle database design skill;
• Strong software design capability and familiar with software development life cycle;
• Working knowledge on Web application is a must;
• Working experience on CRM system design is preferable;
• Working knowledge on Portal application is preferable;
• Working knowledge on Financial Market;
• Familiar with WebSphere Application Server and/or WebSphere Portal Server;
• Ability to work under pressure, independently and proactively as well as to meet deadlines;
• Strong in leadership and management;
• Good command of English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin), good in presentation and communication skill; and
• Team work player and proven people management skill.
• Station in Shenzhen required while housing and traffic allowance will be provided.
