Responsibility:
Seeking the senior software engineer with good experience in Multi-media codec or streaming development with good understanding in Linux kernel and device driver development environment. He/She will be involved in the core technology in Consumer Electronics Field and join R&D team in PRC SEG Software Group to design, develop MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, MP3, AAC, AC3 codec or Media streaming demux for TS, PS, RTSP/RTP, ISMA, or Research the solution for A/V sync post video processing and video capture.

Qualification:
The position requires the good knowledge base in DSP concept, Video & Audio codec algorithm, Streaming architecture, real streaming network and Linux Kernel, device driver development. The successful candidate must have excellent communications skills, be a team player and demonstrate good interpersonal skills. It needs strong C/C++ & ASM coding expertise. The candidate also needs to have the ability to work in teams spread across multiple sites including international locations. The candidate needs to be fluent in Chinese and possess good English communication skills. Requires a BS in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering with 4+ years of experience or MS with 2+ years working
experience.


2. Linux Media Driver developer

Responsibility:
The Software R&D team within the SWE Group of Consumer Electronics Group (CEG) is looking for Linux Device Developer who solid experience in Media device driver development for MPEG2, MPEG4, H.264, VC1 and TS/PS/RTSP/RTP demux. It will be better with experience in analog or digitial Tunner development. He/She will design, develop and port Linux based device driver on XScale or IA32 based Consumer Electronics Platform for Intel CE Platform solution.

Qualification:
Requires strong design and development expertise in C / ASM and software architecture. Requires the good understanding in Linux Kernel, device driver architecture and strong knowledgebase in Multi-media processing (such as Transportation Stream, Program stream architecture, Video codec(MPEG2/4, H.264, VC1), Audio codec(MP3, AAC, AC3) and A/V sync). The successful candidate must have excellent communications skills, be a team player and demonstrate good interpersonal skills. The candidate also needs to have the ability to work in teams spread across multiple sites including international locations. In this position, you will be involved in the core technology in the Consumer Electronics Field and will be joining the R&D team in the PRC Solutions Enabling Group (SEG) Software Group to design, develop and port Linux-based device driver on Intel XScale(r)- or IA32-based Consumer Electronics Platform.

Qualification:

4..Validation Engineer

DHG/SEG develops CE Platforms and Digital Media products that run in the WinCE/XPe and Linux environments. We are seeking a candidate to work in DMI (Digital Media Interface) group for development of test plans and test cases for a streaming media via network and complied with CTT (Content Test Tool) an automation frame work.


A broad knowledge of embedded products in the areas of graphics, video (MPEG) and network, automation test suite and tools are required. Skills: Knowledge and experience with the following: Linux, Windows CE/XP, C, C++ and Perl a plus. Working knowledge of Hardware and/or Software validation methodologies and debug problem solving experience are a big plus.
