Oracle /Java Developer

We are recruiting experienced developers to join global development teams, working closely with colleagues who are based in the UK or US; you will need to communicate in English both by telephone and email. Our client is a major international investment bank; we develop, maintain and support their global 24/7 trade settlement system that processes trades from the London Stock Exchange and other stock markets around the world. Main responsibilities:
•        Design, development, implementation, documentation
•        Testing and support of a bespoke derivatives settlement system deployed on an J2EE platform.
•        Identify re-engineering opportunities
•        Present potential solutions
•        Provide Level 3 support



Job requirements:

•        Bachelors degree or higher in computer related studies
•        At least 2 years development experience
•        Excellent  spoken and written English
•        Essential skills:
      strong Oracle or Sybase skills
      Java, J2EE,JSP, JMS, Websphere, Jboss, Intellij, Tomcat, XML, SQL
•        Bank experience would be an advantage
