1. Cable Software/QA engineer
Internal Job Description:
CRDC Cable DevTest team seeks a Software/QA Engineer to design and develop vehicles that validate the functionality and quality of Cisco CMTS under customer-like environments. The ideal candidates should have extensive hands-on experience, be familiar with Networking / Network protocols, and understand fundamental testing methodology.
The Software/QA engineer will be responsible for developing test plans / test cases, performing manual tests, and scripting (utilizing TCL and ATS/AutoEasy) for Cable CMTS features. The Software/QA engineer should also be capable of troubleshooting and fixing lab set up.
This position requires a BS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent and 2-3 years of industry experience. An individual not only self-motivated but also a good team player with good interpersonal skills (in Mandarin and in English). Product experience on CMTS, DOCSIS, PacketCable, BACC; Protocol experience on TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, network management applications is a plus. Experience with testing equipments such as Pagent, SmartBits, and/or IXIA is also a plus.

2. Product Operation Manager
Responsibilities
· Onsite Management (solid line and dotted line) of the Product Operations employees based in Northern China (Shanghai)· Primary day-to-day interface with the Cisco CDO China Research and Development Center (CRDC)
· Team with the CDO to define competitive manufacturing solutions for new products
· Define sourcing solutions for new products
· Management of product life cycle through all phases of manufacturing
· Manage Manufacturability (DFM) Analysis on new products
· Manage Design for Reliability (DFR) Analysis
· Partner with the CDO and DPOs to define Test Strategy for new products and implement the test solution
· Provide a Value Engineering Roadmap and drive VE projects
· Provide Product Engineering Support to Mfg Ops
· Support Defect Reduction Teams with product-specific expertise as necessary
· Drive Product Improvements· Provide Design For (manufacturability, testability, reliability, etc.) rules that evolve and improve
· Work with the CDO and DPOs to provide product transition plans and roadmaps
· Support Product Failure Analysis escalations as necessary
· Establish and build relationships with key partner/CM engineering teams
· Build relationships with global Prod Ops teams to ensure local skills, capacity and capabilities are aligned to meet demands Skills Required

Job Requirement
Working with a team of engineers involved in the development of a software product targeting IP protection and information leakage prevention.
Write design specifications and functional specifications.
Design and develop software in a UNIX / Linux environment.
Perform well-defined unit, product level integration, and dev tests.
Understand underlying networking technology of the related projects.
Strong UNIX, C (or C++), Java, and script programming experience is essential.
Strong problem solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication, team and people skills.
Has the ability to cope in changing and ambiguous circumstances. Encourages and accepts personal feedback.
Typically requires MSEE/CS or equivalent training with 4-6+ yrs related experience.
4. Admin Assistant
Responsibilities
· Assists and/or leads the BU's Administrative meetings and formulating of department practices/policies.
· Uses experience and good judgment to take initiative in facilitating Cisco programs, policies and procedures.
· Acts as a liaison for the director in the coordination of office-type activities
· Deals professionally with sensitive and confidential matters and materials
· Manages day-to-day administrative processes associated with front office and team coordination with little to no supervisory input. · Often is required to recommend process improvements and innovations for the unit.
Skills Required
· Advanced level knowledge of Windows desktop computer applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· Ability to navigate web and email at high competency knowledge.
· Familiarity with a desktop calendar management program.
· Ability to format presentations and use financial programming applications.
· Generally receives no instruction on routine tasks and very little instruction on new projects.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is Must. Communicates effectively with a diverse population, including high level managers and clients. Mentors junior Administrative Assistants.
· Participates in the Business Unit's team meeting of other Administrators to share information and network.
· Back-up support in absence of other AA's.
· Responsible for solving problems of a complex nature based on experience and knowledge consulting directors or other management staff on decisions affecting budget, business, etc.
· Technical Knowledge of Desktop Applications.
