标题: 求HP-UX上相当于Sun上面mt -retension的磁带命令! [打印本页]

标题: 求HP-UX上相当于Sun上面mt -retension的磁带命令!
Sun上面倒带的命令是mt [-f tapename] rewind [count] 相当于HP上mt [-t tapename] rew [count]
Sun上面另一个用法  mt [-f tapename] retension [count]
不知道这个retension和rewind有什么区别，Sun上面的man说
   retension
         Rewind the cartridge tape  completely,  then  wind  it
         forward  to the end of the reel and back to beginning-
         of-tape to smooth out tape tension.

那么我在HP上面运行的话，等效与Sun上面的retension，mt应该指定什么参数?

Retention is not use on DLT products.It was used on Travan drives for exanple.
I do not know related to the option Format greyed
