高手请进：
  solaris平台配置带库，inquire能发现设备，设备文件存在：

1. 尝试在solaris下安装一个较新版本的networker安装包
2. 贴一下cfgadm -al

You are installing a virtual tape library which may be made from EMC and simulated IBM 3584 tape library.

0cn 0lbn 0u 1c 1hn 1mbn 2 2h 2ln 2ub 3cb 3l 3mn
The above IBM OEM tape drives are configured with Solaris st driver.

4smc 5st 5stn
The drive and changer are configued with IBMtape driver.

The tape library is also attached on Emulex FC HBA.

What version of Emulex HBA driver is running?
Did you modify /kernel/drv/lpfc.conf and /etc/driver_alisas for IBMtape driver?
Did you have a good setup for Solaris sgen driver in sgen.conf for the changer?

Newworker uses Solaris passthru driver sgen as the changer driver, but can run st or IBMtape driver for tape drive.

我的fc 是qlogic的，sgen，st都modify配置好，没什么问题

还是从磁带库上找设置吧，见过那么多大部分还是那里原因。

A changer (/dev/rmt/4smc) has been configured with IBMtape driver.
bash-2.05# ls -l /dev/rmt/*smc /dev/rmt/*st
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root other 59 Dec 10 14:18 /dev/rmt/4smc -> ../../devices/pci@1e,600000/fibre-channel@3/IBMtape@7,0:smc

Run "/opt/IBMtape/tapelist -l" to check if the above tape library you are looking for, same as this one.
scsidev@1.7.0:IBM 03584L32 4.02|Autochanger (Jukebox)

If so, a control path is setup at the library but sgen doesn't detect and configure it.

sgen为什么看不见？
>> If no device works with the driver, Solaris kernel will unload the driver from the kernel to save the kernel memory automatically. That is why you cann't find sgen in modinfo.

I suggest you read Networker document to check if any entry must be added for the device in /kernel/drv/sgen.conf. On Solaris, most of drivers use the conf file to tell the system what device (target and lun ID) the driver wants to configure, and the system presents the requested device to the driver to attach. Also contact with EMC whether you uninstall IBMtape driver from the system.
