ha实现的是数据库在其中一台机器上运行有问题时，把数据库从一台机器上自动切换到另外一台机器上运行。两台机器上都建有实例,但是数据库只有一个.数据库是建立在共享的存储设备上的,同一时刻只能挂载到一台机器上.

对外，连接数据库的应用应该用一个浮动ip地址。

看来你可以试试DPF数据库分区功能能了，你所说的可能是ORACLE的RAC实现的方法吧。

db2和oracle的实现机制不同，不能共享存储设备，当前只能有一台机器上在运行db2。如果想实现高性能，可以考虑db2分区数据库。
ha只能实现高可用性。两台机器在同一时刻只有一台来运行db2，另外一台处于冷备状态。

在DB2下只用过cascading方式，好像如果要用concurrent模式，要以non-concurrent方式varyonvg，定义完LV后再varyoffvg,再用concurrent方式varyonvg，没实践过!

看资料是说concurrent方式所专门针对Oracle Parallel Server环境设计，但不知DB2下能否使用!

dpf不是实现HA的，HA只是用HACMP实现。
熟悉熟悉HACMP的原理和配置方法吧。

肯定，主流DBMS只有ORACLE是用SHAREDISK做集群的。就这样可以了。

DB2有HADR可以实现高可用性，跟Informix学来的。不过目前HADR不支持DPF

HADR当可以实现高可用性,但是备用数据库不可用,经常处于前滚暂挂状态

This is standard eCommerce setup for IBM DB2 UDB/WebSphere on AIX
Since you have AIX P550 you should use LPAR(Logical Partition) for this 2 system
            LPAR-1                                                    LPAR-2
AIX-1    WebSphere Application 1 (WAS-1)          DB2-1
AIX-2    WebSphere Application 2 (WAS-2)          DB2-2

WAS-1 and WAS-2 use WebSphere cluster for fail over

Because this is eCommerce application, HA though Log Shipping is not fast enough. most eCommerce site used IBM HCACMP, Varitas Cluster Server (VCS) or SUN Cluster, especially you have 2 IBM P550 system.
There have 2 major HA Cluster scenario. Hot Standby and Mutual Takeover

Hot standby: This is simplest HA Cluster topology. The primary machine is hosting the production database instance and associated resources. A Second idle machine is available to host  the production database instance and assicaiated resources, should a failure occur on the primary machine. The second machine can also be running a workload.
This is mean you may let one server standby and doing nothing until primary server fails.

Mutual Takeover: In this case, you envision a cluster of N servrs as N/2 pairs of server. Server number N is responsible for failover support of server number N+1; server number N+2 is responsible for failover support of server number N+3 and so onuntil you reach Nth server

This is mean you can have a db2 running on DB2-1 and another db2 running on DB2-2, there are cluster each other, if DB2-1 fails, the db2 in the DB2-1 will fail in to DB2-2 and vice versa. But if both of DB2-1 and DB2-2 are in high volume, one server was down and db2 fail into another db2 server, the volume may crush the second db2 server

Both HCAMP and VCS are very expensive, it need special technical to setup and operate.

DB2的DPF功能也是可以和HACMP结合起来的，是可以实现高可用性的，不过有些复杂，因为DPF是无共享体系。研究过一些问题，DB2里带了些脚本可以实现如NFS文件系统的自动接管，不过没有环境，没有实现过。
