我没有误导啊。你多看几次啦。我讲的和你讲的基本上是一样的。如果我上回可以打中文，我都不打英文啦。\r\n\r\n我都不知道raw devices有什么好。系统对raw devices的控制很有限，主要是application 控制raw devices。所以如果raw devices显示系统有关的错误，系统修不了，application 更修不了系统有关的错误。所以我觉得raw devices 比较危险。如果没有必要，我是不会选择raw devices的。

是的\r\n楼上的兄弟不要误导别人哦\r\n\r\n建LV的时候\r\nLV类型那一栏可以随便输的\r\n那只是个文字符号而已\r\n平时一般输入raw\r\n只是自己看着方便而已\r\n你想输law,saw,daw都行的

照樓上的兄弟說法, 裸設備這么麻煩\r\n為什么還有人用裸設備呢, 比如上面放數據據呢..\r\n僅僅是因為裸設備I/O性能好嗎...

to create raw tape lvs, just like creating jfs or jfs2, but when you choose the lv type, you put raw as the type. you need to key in, there is no raw type that you can choose if you do the Esc+4... after that, you are done. nothing to mount. \r\n\r\nBut:\r\nraw disks are very trouble. the OS doesn\'t have much control on raw devices. when you run into problems, you don\'t have many ways to fix it. It is just horrible!!\r\n\r\nI have some terrible experience with raw disks. I have done an ex/importvg on the EMC disk. I am not sure if AIX doesn\'t like the EMC storage or what, the disk descriptor area was corrupted. Luckily, the application doesn\'t need the descriptor info to start... it\'s a nightmare. There are other problems came up, it was just horrible. \r\n\r\nIf anyone tell me what\'s the benefit using raw device, i\'ll be interested in knowing it. Thanks.

必须输raw,否则采用默认值是jfs
