请教JDBC连接数据库问题

刚接触Websphere，请教各位高手以下问题：
１、Websphere Application Server和Database可以分别安装在不同的主机上吗？我的情况是WAS安装上XP上，Oracle 10g安装在虚拟机上，运行Linux平台；

２、WAS通过JDBC连接Oracle时，ojdbc6.jar文件在哪里？WAS所在的主机没有这个文件，我自己下载了一个，但还是无法连通。Oracle 10g所在的Linux系统倒是有一个ojdbc14.jar文件，但在WAS控制台设定为其路径后，也不能连通；

３、设置好JDBC提供程序和数据源后，测试连接时报错：无法连接到节点，确保 Node Agent 正在运行并重试测试连接操作。这个Node Agent是要装在Oracle所在的主机上吗？

    The Plug-ins installation wizard--这个是怎么调用出来？我不知从哪调用。我只是在“Web 服务器”中点击了“生成插件”，产生一个 xml 的文件。以为将这个文件COPY入 Web Server再修改 httpd.conf 就可以呢。

你的插件安装到哪台机器了？

The Plug-ins installation wizard installs the plug-in module, configures the Web server for communicating with the application server, and creates a Web server configuration definition in the application server, if possible.

Some topologies, such as the Web server on one system and the application server on another system, prevent the Plug-ins installation wizard from creating the Web server definition in the application server configuration on the remote system. In such a case, the Plug-ins installation wizard creates a script that you can copy to the application server system. Run the script to create the Web server configuration definition within the application server configuration.

    我的系统执行这条命令没有返回有用的结果。

这个apache 2.2是几年前就装上了，而且是以二进制码安装的，应该没有这个 .so 文件吧。是不是要重新编译 apache 包含这个模块？

可是这个was_ap22_module /opt/IBM/WebSphere/Plugins/bin/mod_was_ap22_http.so在哪里找？

    WAS安装程序里面包含插件的安装程序。我们一般是把插件安装到apache所在的那台机器上面。

WAS要支持apache2还需要在WAS中生成一个插件是吗？

OK啦，原来是ojdbc6.jar这个文件的问题，之前不知从哪个网站下的，今天从Oracle官方网站下的，就没有问题了。
