1) 重新建库的话,得killall httpd, 删掉所有的/usr/cofio目录文件.
  重新执行 vs-install , 再把之前注册的key重新注册一下 vs-license -s *****.
  重新执行 vs-install 最好选择1 个drive, size选为1G, 否则会出现96错误.
2) as4不能安装,必须as5.
3) 'Failed to load VTL driver module 'vs_drv' 问题,有人说是 因为包没装全的原因, 我自己的实验是:装了所有的开发包的话在执行vs-install的时候也提示. 我试过在 as5 u4 x86-64, as5 GA x86-64 全报这个错误(我已经装全开发的包了) ,后来在as5 u4 x86, as5 GA x86 都成功了,感觉 64位上不能安装. 编译老出错,但网站上只说需要 2.6的内核,没说64位的不支持.
我的测试就是只能在32 位的linux上安装,才不会有'Failed to load VTL driver module 'vs_drv' 问题. 感觉其他的同学测试也是多用32位。

大家可以检查该文件来check 编译是否成功

4) web界面上的add library 好像不能添加完全的信息(主要是size ),导致在那添加的lib 不可用, .

5) 我现在遇到的问题, 可以backup, 但restore失败.
提示: no data in archive.
       status of restore from image created *********= media manager detected image that was not in tar format.

有几点注意事项：
1.请保证RHEL为5.0版本，内核为2.6.18-8.el5，尝试过使用RHEL 5.1和5.2，有不同的错误提示。
2.安装RHEL时，请选择开发工具，禁用防火墙，禁用SELinux。
3.使用激活码时，如果已经过期，可以尝试更改系统日期。
4.使用iscsi initator识别到带库之后，点击取消，不必安装驱动。
5.使用symantec的驱动程序安装包，选择为所有磁带库设备使用symantec驱动，并一定勾选即插即用（一开始没有勾选，使得每次重启之后，
无法在iscsi服务启动并找到带库之前加载驱动，会失败）。在安装完驱动之后，会提示重新启动，不需要重启，可以立即使用nbu存储设备配置界
面来识别到机械臂和驱动器，在识别过程中，机械臂和驱动器没有关联，可以通过拖放，将驱动器拖放到机械臂下。



Vistor vs_drv.ko加载的问题解决方法
#./vistor start
ERROR: module file /usr/cofio/vistor/vs_drv.ko cannot be found
ERROR: Failed to start VTL - 'Failed to load VTL driver module 'vs_drv''. Please check that your platform is supported and contact Cofio Customer support

如上错误是由于一些package没有安装导致，在多次试验后总结解决方法如下
此环境是RHEL 5 u2
# uname -a

You must install the following packages:
# rpm -ivh [package]   # package指的是如下rpm package

即可成功完成vistor的正确安装
