我在windowsXP中和linux中同时加了用户,用户名和密码都相同,并且在smb.conf中配置security = user,用smbpasswd -a 指定用户可以使用smb了,但是还不行啊,XP和linux的防火墙我也都关闭了啊,还是不行,继续求教!!!!

guest account = guest，然后在linux下增加guest用户，确认telnet能够用guest登录，建议把$SAMBA_PATH/var的log贴上来大家看看？

winxp 以上版本不能登陆samba做的Domain

samba的问题,查看了精华贴仍未解决

workgroup = WORKGROUP (定义该Samba服务器所在的工作组或者域)
security = share (定义Samba的安全级别)
server string = My Samba Server
hosts allow = 192.168.1.220 127.0.0.1 (允许访问的主机,用空格隔开)
encrypt passwords = yes (对密码是否加密)
smb passwd file = /etc/samba/smbpasswd (密码文件的位置)

public = yes (是否允许游客访问)
writable = yes (是否可以写入)

没有好好看README阿你
这个是基本配置，你看看smb.conf中默认的应该是被注释掉的
