安装openldap出现问题, 请高手帮忙

I have not used OpenSSL 0.9.8 yet, I have used 0.9.7[a-g], all without issue.

I am using:

RHEL4 (I had tried RH9 one year back, it did work, I had also tried RHFC1/FC2/FC3/FC4, all without issue)

OpenSSL 0.9.7g (I have used 0.9.7a, 0.9.7c, 0.9.7d, 0.9.7e, all without issue)

BDB 4.2.52 + 2 patches (there are 4 patches, I only patched the first two)

Cyrus-SASL 2.1.21 (I installed it but I did not use SASL, I used simple bind + TLS for LDAP Auth)

OpenLDAP 2.2.26 ( I have also used 2.2.13, 2.2.23, 2.3.4, 2.3.7 all without issue)

The gcc and compile/link tools you used in RH9 are certainly too old.

It is time you upgrade RH9 to FC1 and then to FC3 or FC4, I believe FC3/4 has latest gcc 3.X.X.

I will be building OpenSSL 0.9.8 using gcc 3.4.3 comes bundled with RHEL4, if you do not hear from me again, it means it also works with OpenLDAP.

If you "export" at the current command line, it may affect your other subsequent commands in your current environment, one SENSITIVE env. variable is the LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

See the manual page of "man env", the COMMAND here is the "./configure", this will spawn a shell and the modifed environment is "transient" and not exported, therefore it is safer.

# man env | head
ENV(1)                          User Commands                          ENV(1)

NAME
env - run a program in a modified environment
