Designation: Global Operations System Engineer

Job Description:

•        Candidate has to learn existing Infrastructure , technologies and support the same .
•        Follow global operations policies and fine tune the same
•        Co-ordinate with the global Operations team spread around the globe to resolve infrastructure related issues including managing DR sites etc
•        Contribute to new upgrade projects related to Systems etc.


Required Skills:

•        Self motivated individual that can work by themselves with minimal day to day supervision.
•        Should have ability to learn existing system from documents and enhance the documentations moving forward.
•        Strong Knowledge of RHE Linux , Apache ,  Shell Scripting , Perl scripting etc
•        Exposure to different OS like Sun Solaris , Windows etc
•        Good knowledge about Oracle Enterprise Tools
•        Good Working knowledge of Oracle Apps Server management
•        VERY GOOD English communication skill: verbal, writing and reading.
•        Good Working knowledge with Dell/Compaq-HP/IBM Hardware and technical customer support relationship is a PLUS
•        Experience managing servers overseas with Remote serve management is a PLUS
•        Experience working with SAN/NAS environments (3PAR, EMC^2, NetApp, IBM) is a PLUS

Experience:

•        5+ years of relevant work experience.

Qualification:

•        Degree / Diploma / Engineering degree in Computer science or IT

Reporting to:

•        Global Operations System Manager , Chille , Santiago
