Question
This document provides troubleshooting information for the situation where your Java application receives SQL1131 or another SQL error after applying v8.1 FixPak 13 on a Linux® 64-bit DB2® instance.

Cause
Support for 32-bit JDKs in 64-bit DB2 instances removed as of v8.1 FixPak 13.

Answer
Install a 64-bit JDK for use with the 64-bit DB2 instance or do not apply v8.1 FixPak 13 or higher.
