perl中如何执行java程序 现在有一个java源程序:

import java.io.BufferedWriter;
import java.io.FileWriter;
import java.io.IOException;
import java.text.DateFormat;
import java.util.Date;

可具体在perl中怎么写呢?格式是什么样的;我是想在perl中执行java程序,然后通过crontab定时执行perl脚本.得到间接调用java程序的目的;
我知道在shell中是这样来调用执行java程序的:

   echo " /home/wss/IODemo.log"
   #javac Simple.java
   /home/wss/jdk1.6.0_03/bin/java Simple >>/home/wss/IODemo.log
   cat /home/wss/IODemo.log
   echo "sucess exe!"
可在perl中是怎么做的呢?迷惑?
