Job Responsibility:
As a member of CODC test team, he willbe responsible for software integration, system test andtechnical support for the T8000 and G9 Wireless Media Gateway
Qualifications:
RequiresBS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of3 years software development/test experience, preferably 5+ years in thewireless telecommunications industry. Fluency for written and read English isrequired.
Applicant must be capable of unsupervised work and mustdemonstrate excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work in ateam environment.
Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- 3-5 years of development/test experience in telecommunications isrequired
- SS7,SIGTRAN
- GSM
- UMTS (Iu, Nb and Mc interfaces)
- CDMA (or SCDMA)
- Megaco (H.24
- VoIP (RTP/RTCP)
- ATM (PVC/SVC, UNI, PNNI)
- E1 and SDH Facilities

Job Description :
As a member of the Genband CODC development team, will be responsible for the design, development and Maintenance of Signalling Gateway software subsystem.
Duties of the Position:
Participate in all phases of the development cycle, including feature definition,design, coding, testing, system integration, documentation, and support. Collaboration with other internal and external product development teams is expected so complete solutions are provided. Other duties as assigned.
Education:
BS/MS in EE/CS or equivalent
Skill Requirements:
3+ years of development engineering experience in telecommunications is required
Strong understanding and experience with formal software development processes is required
Strong experience in RTOS(pSOS, VxWorks, etc.), UNIX, and C/C++ is required
1+ years of hands-on development experience with the following telephony standards and protocols: SAAL/MTP2/ MTP3
Experience in developing high availability systems is required
Formal development environment experience (source code management, bug and problem tracking, release packaging and load building) is required
Good written/oral English is required
Understanding of SNMP protocols is highly desired
Understanding of MEGACO, RTP, MTP3b/SSCOP/ALCAP protocols is highly desired
Understanding of VoIP technologies, network architecture and related applications is desired
Understanding of other SS7 related protocols, e.g. ISUP/SCCP/RANAP/BSSAP/TCAP is desired
Understanding of other SIGTRAN protocols, e.g. M2UA/M2PA/SUA is desired

Be responsible for circuit board and FPGA design, development and testing for Company's Carrier-Class VoIP/VoATM Media-Gateway products for worldwide Wireline and Wireless UMTS applications.
Qualifications:
Self-motivated, team-working and getting job done ASAP positive altitude；
BSEE with 4+ years, or MSEE with 2+ years of related hand-on job experience；
Major of Communication technology or Computer engineering；
Hands-on design experience of using PowerPC 405 or Power 603e/7XX/7XXX CPU；
Hands-on design experience of using SDRAM, Ethernet and RS-232, etc；
Hands-on design experience of using VHDL for Xilinx/Altera FPGA/CPLD devices；
Hands-on design experience with OrCAD Capture/CIS；
Hands-on design experience of using Marvell Discovery family controllers is preferred；
Solid knowledge of TDM or VoIP or VoATM technology；
Good English in writing and speaking.
