Job Title:  Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Specialist
Location: Dalian, China

Key Area of Responsibility:
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating reporting standards, coaching and supporting power users with Business Intelligence reporting tools. This position requires experience in a highly dynamic environment with high service levels. You must have excellent communications skills and an outstanding track record with the user community in order to be considered for this position.     You must be able to read and write both Chinese and Japanese very well.

Participate in a Data Warehouse Technical Leadership role, with a focus upon Business Intelligence and Reporting; Lead Consulting Engagements from Strategy through Implementation; Contribute to existing internal Data Warehouse Intellectual Capital; Contribute to a Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Methodology; Contribute to the Development of internal Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence staff; Perform Technical reviews of existing Data Warehouse projects.

Travel: 20% - 60% depending on project plan

Qualifications:
-- 2-4 years of Data Warehousing Experience.
-- Working knowledge of Teradata a real plus.
-- Fluent in Chinese and Japanese language.
-- Minimum 3+ years Experience with Oracle as a DW database platform
-- Possess knowledge for a Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Implementation.
-- Experience with a Data Warehouse Development Methodology.
-- Expertise with one or two of the leading Business Intelligence and Reporting tools (Business Objects, Cognos, MicroStrategy; Crystal Reports).
-- Knowledge and experience with Informatica a plus.
-- Knowledge of Best Practices for the following: Information Delivery Architecture, Data Architecture.
-- Ability to estimate Data Warehouse Delivery projects.
-- Experience with UNIX (Scripting) and Windows operating systems
--Expert in TD SQL and PL/SQL and related programming concepts
--Familiar with Production automation scheduling processes and utilities
--Industry experience for financial industry (banking, credit card in particular), retail industry, manufacturing industry and/or communication industry is desirable


Other Skills, Qualifications and Education:
-- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-- Formal training experience a plus
-- B.S. in information sciences or a related field
