EBS Development Engineer


Organization Name: E-Business Suite China Development Center (CDC)
Location: Shenzhen

Job Title: Associate Application Engineer or Application Engineer

Department description:  The Oracle Applications E-Business suite vision is opening its newest development center in Shenzhen, China (P.R.C).  The E-Business suite is one of Oracle top ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) suite that enables large international companies and SMB (Small and Medium Businesses) to manage their business end to end. The Oracle e-Business suite includes complements in Financials (Payable, Receivable, General Ledger…), Supply Chain management (Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Order Management and distribution), Human Resources (Payroll, Employee management) and many others. The initial focus of the new Shenzhen development center will be in Supply Chain Management, specifically Procurement, Logistics and then Manufacturing.

Brief Position Description: We are looking for talented engineers to be part of our new development center in Shenzhen. As a EBS Development engineer you will design, build and test multiple functions of our internet enabled applications in Inventory management and Purchasing modules. You will also be in contact with our customer, domestic and international, to ensure the quality of your products and assist them in resolving production issues.

Detailed Description:  As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high/detail level design based on provided external requirements. Develop highly complex features using cutting- edge technology (Java, XML, J2EE, SQL) and oracle-based technology (Developer 2000, Oracle Forms and oracle Reports, PL/SQL) and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by our Quality Assurance group (QA)

Job Requirements:
o        Undergraduate/graduate degree (BS/MS) in Computer Science or a related field.
o        Formal classes in software architecture, object oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
o        Proficiency in Java, SQL, and PL/SQL, Unix/Linux or similar technologies.
o        Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal, including meetings and conference calls with our international R&D divisions in the US and India and our international customers.
o        Experience in either or all of the following a plus : Oracle Forms,  Oracle Reports, XML Publisher & Oracle Application (OA) Framework
o        Experience in Oracle Applications E-Business suite a plus.
o        Superior problem solving skills.
o        Results driven, innovative and detail oriented.
o        Team player and ability to work independently.

ESD QA Engineer

Detailed Description :  

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods. Your responsibilities will include:

·        Reviewing specification, developing and maintaining test plans based on specifications with adherence to quality standards both internal and external.
·        Execute software test plans.
·        Set up test framework wherever necessary, analyze and write automated tests extensively.
·        Maintain documentation of test results.
·        Analyze test results and recommend corrective action while identifying bugs and issues.

As a member of this QA group, you will be responsible for end to end testing which includes setup, validation, regression runs and evaluating quality of the product at the systems and integration level. Process will also include certification and support.

Job Requirements:

§        BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area (logistics, procurement or manufacturing)
§        Understanding roles, processes, procedures and QA test lifecycles.
§        Strong sense of commitment to quality, schedule and effective communication is a must
§        Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal, including meetings and conference calls with our international R&D divisions in the US and India and our international customers
§        Experience with E-Business Suite or any ERP (SAP, Kingdee, UFIDA,) a plus
§        Experience with Supply Chain Management, especially Procurement and Logistics a plus
§        Experience with test (Mercury WinRunner) automation tools a plus
§        Highly motivated

Product Manager for Oracle E-Business Suite

Detailed Description :  
As a member of the product development division, you will define product requirements and give your input on product strategy. You will gather and analyze information to define product requirements and design specifications. You will also provide key input in multiple collateral such as product Documentation, Transfer Of Information and will get tightly involved with our customers, international or domestic to better understanding their business processes and practices.

Your responsibilities will include:
1.        Participate in Customer Business Requirement definition and review, working closely with the Strategy team
2.        Collaborate with product managers across Oracle Applications to identify and support integration touch points
3.        Drive functional design projects, according to the directions and standards of Oracle E-Business suite Applications
4.        Support Development during the Construct phase of projects
5.        Contribute and review QA test plans
6.        Participate actively in Field Readiness training for new releases and assist the documentation team.
7.        Manage strategic customers for successful implementation

Job Requirements:

1.        BS degree , MBA or equivalent.
2.        Business experience in any of the following areas : logistics , procurement or manufacturing
3.        Ability to interact with customers and actively co-ordinate with them in requirements gathering and conduct design reviews in English, both written and verbal, including meetings and conference calls with our international R&D divisions in the US and India and our international customers
4.        Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite and/or  other Supply Chain applications a plus
5.        Experience in Software solution design would be an advantage a plus
6.        Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects

ATG Applications Engineer – CP

We are on the lookout for a talented, intelligent & diligent team member, to work on common technology tools &components in ATG
Applications Technology Group:
As part of the LCM Group in ATG, we work on critical technical architecture projects and deliver next generation technology tools & components for the complete e-business suite.
Technologies used C, SQL,PL/SQL, PRO*C
Responsibilities:
1.        Required to understand, analyze, and resolve complex technical and functional problems and scenarios in context of the complete e-business suite.
2.        Develop & execute unit test cases and perform module testing
3.        Document Functional specifications, High-level/detailed designs, Code specifications,Unit Test plans in an articulate manner
4.        Interact effectively with other development teams.

Qualifications:
1.        BE/MEin Computer Science, Engineering
2.        Atleast 2-3 years of relevant work experience in software development - design, implementation, testing.
3.        Strong Development and Debugging skills in "C"
4.        Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL/ PRO*C and/or other programming languages
5.        Excellent knowledge of Oracle Database 9i/10g.
6.        Hands-on development experience using all of the above
7.        Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

As a member of the Application Technology Group, you will be responsible for sustaining and enhancing the    Oracle Application Technology products. The Workflow & Integration team provides the products in the area of process, eventing and integration for Oracle e-Business Suite.
1.        Strong knowledge in Oracle application server (iAS), J2EE
2.        Strong development experience in Java and XML based applications.
3.        Excellent coding, debugging skills in core Java components including JDBC
Desirable
1.        Knowledge in Oracle Applications core components e.g. Workflow, XML Gateway
2.        Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL a plus
3.        Sound knowledge of Oracle database
Others

ATG QA – Project Leader / Manager
Field of Work:  QA, which also involves debugging all issues at code level

To work on ATG LCM and AOL Products. Would be working on the latest and greatest technologies, which includes EM, AMP, AIP, AOL, PIE, SES areas. 70-80% of the time to be spent on individual contribution.

Responsibilities:
1.        Required to understand, analyze, debug functional and technical issues as part of testing the products
2.        To work on EM and AMP Products which involves apps cloning, install, customisation, migration, patching and other related system management tasks
3.        Techno Functional testing and automation experience using different tools
4.        Leading the team and working with other ATG couterpart teams across global locations

Qualifications:
1.        Graduate in IT /CS
2.        Atleast 8-10 years of relevant work experience in system management applications development - TechnoFunctional testing, Debugging the issues, Understanding the product in detail, Having good automation experience
3.        Working experience on Oracle Apps DBA, EBS Install / Cloning / Patching, Pearl / Shell scripting
4.        Knowledge of PLSQL or Java is mandatory
5.        Techno Functional experience is mandatory
6.        Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
7.        Verbal and written communication skills
8.        Experience in white box testing and automation with WR, QTP preferred
9.        Good leadership qualities


ATG QA Engineer - LCM AMP/AIP
Field of Work:  QA, which also involves debugging all issues at code level
Department: ATG QA  - AMP / AIP – 2 Positions

AMP / AIP products are used for EBS System management requirements. Using these products, we can monitor, install, clone and patch multiple EBS instances using EM Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
1.        Required to understand, analyze, debug functional and technical issues as part of testing the product
2.        To work on EM and AMP Products which involves apps cloning, install, customisation, migration, patching and other related system management tasks
3.        Functional testing and automation using different tools
4.        Communicating well with all other counterpart of teams

Qualifications:
1.        Graduate in IT/CS
2.        Atleast 3 + years of relevant work experience in system management applications developemt -> Techno functional testing, Debugging the issues, Understanding the product in detail, Having good automation experience
3.        Working experience on Oracle Apps DBA, Pearl / Shell scripting and system management applications

ATG  QA Engineer  - Isetup
Date Available: ASAP
Field of Work:  QA, which also involves debugging all issues at code level
Department: ATG QA - iSetup

ISetup product is used by EBS customers as part of new implementation, upgrade, rollout scenarious and also to compare data across instances. This position requires strong EBS Financials experience in implemenation, customisation, data migration etc.

Responsibilities:
1.        Required to understand, analyze, debug functional and technical issues as part of testing the product
2.        To work on EBS Financials products as part of migrating data across multiple instances
3.        Understanding the business requirements of EBS Applications
4.        Functional testing and automation using different tools
5.        Communicating well with all other counterpart of teams

Qualifications:
1.        Graduate in engineering alongwith Financial / Management experience
2.        Atleast 3 + years of relevant work experience in EBS Financials implementation, customisation
3.        Knowledge of PLSQL is mandatory
4.        Techno Functional experience is mandatory
5.        Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
6.        Verbal and written communication skills
