) ”是第一个采用龙芯 CPU 作为其搜索引擎服务器的公司,此公司于2007年10月底使用龙芯盒子替换了公司1/3的搜索引擎服务器(原服务器使用 Intel CPU),后稳定运行至今。
众所周知,搜索引擎需要使用大量的服务器用于蜘蛛程序 (Spider) 和文件分布式存储,像 Google 就有50万台的搜索引擎服务器。搜索引擎服务器对网络性能、稳定性和可靠性要求较高,同时由于需要大量的服务器,对成本比较敏感。
1、龙芯可以稳定运行 Linux 操作系统。大部分的搜索引擎都是采用 Linux 操作系统,龙芯在这方面有天然的优势,所有的程序可以非常容易地在龙芯上重新编译后运行。
