vmstat命令的困惑

ibm中文信息中心关于vmstat命令标志的描述：
-s 将总数结构中的内容写入到标准输出，该结构包含从系统初始化后调页事件的绝对计数。-s 标志只能与 -v 标志一起使用。  
英文对-s标志的描述为：Writes the contents of the sum structure to standard output, which
contains an absolute count of paging events since system
initialization. The -s option is exclusive of the other vmstat
command options.
到底哪个对呢？
