The ZFS snapshot itself has no problem. Actually it is very cool. However, in order to use it, you need ZFS first. ZFS has serious problem as I previously mentioned. If you are talking about UFS snapshot, then it is another story.

We always use UFS snapshot to backup system.

UFS snapshot is fine just not as cool as ZFS snapshot
