X8420 Server Module 含4个Dual-core AMD Opteron CPU，每个CPU对应4个DIMM槽，2个DIMM槽为一对,这一对内存必须一致，并含有两个SAS或SATA硬盘槽
1．
Network Express Modules（NEM）：每个刀片独立对应1个GBE NICs(含两个端口，上为port0，下为port1)从右到左为BL0(0.0,0.1)—BL9(9.0,9,1)
2．
PCIe Express Module (EM)：每个刀片对应2个EM 槽，从右到左依次为BL0—BL9 ，
GbE EM Port Numbers：上为Port 1 ，下为 port 0

3．setup the SP address:
Method 1
ILOM-CMM using serial connection
Using a serial console attached to the rear panel of the CMM, log in to ILOM as
the Administrator. For example, at the Login prompt, you could type the
preconfigured Administrator user name root and its default password
changeme, then press Enter.
Serial console conifigure
8N1: eight data bits, no parity, one stop bit
■ 9600 baud
■ Disable hardware flow control (CTS/RTS)
■ Disable software flow control (XON/XOFF)

■ To set the working directory for the active CMM, type:
cd /CMM/network/CMM0
■ To view the active CMM IP address, type: show
■ To drill-down and view the IP addresses of each blade, type:
show /CH/BL0/SP/network

Method 2)
Using a serial console attached to the front panel of a blade, log in to ILOM as the
Administrator. For example, at the Login prompt, you could type the
preconfigured Administrator user name root and its default password
changeme, then press Enter.
■ To view the blade SP IP address, type: show /SP/network

Solaris Installation
Start the ILOM CLI console on the CMM or blade SP, for example:
For CMM, you would type:
start /CH/BL#/SP/console
where # = the slot number of the blade in the chassis
For blade SP, you would type:
start /SP/console

4．Mirror the system disks
To perform this procedure, you will use the LSI Logic MPT Setup Utility. In the LSI
Logic Setup Utility, RAID Level-1 is known as IM Volume; and RAID Level-0 is
known as IS Volume.
