not bad, but aterm doesn't support borderless, so you have to use another application to strip the border off, I use bbappconf on blackbox.  But I can not compile bbappconf on RH9 or Mandrake 9.1, so I have already uninstalled aterm.

Fortunatly, I still keep my aterm command line    hope this help
aterm -fg grey -tr +sb -fn fixed -geometry 80x55+3+0 -sh 30 -fade 200 &
