我的UNIX到底怎么了？

我用的SCO UNIX 5.0.5，今天突然屏幕会时不时插播消息。其内容如下：
“
LOGIN: ERROR- Failed to initialize policy manager. (IFOR_PM_FATAL)
    The status from the policy manager demon (PMD - /etc/ifor_pmd) indicates that a serious error condition has occurred.  Login is allowed, but the system administrator is strongly advised to consult the SCO online Support Solutions Library (SSL) for assistance; if the SSL is inaccessible,  please contact your SCO Support representative.

      屏幕刷新后可以继续使用，这到底是为什么？怎样可以取消这种提示？是不是我的SCO UNIX出了什么问题？
    请各位指教！！！

检查机子的日期是否正确

用date命令显示的时间是Tue Jul 15 18:03:08 EDT 2003，好象没什么问题吧。
    查看了时区发现是EST5EDT，更换为GMT+8。
    不过，好象不是这个引起的吧？？？

ifor_pmd, ifor_sld, and sco_cpd must never be killed. Without them, the
system does not work properly. Attempts to execute licensed applications in
the absence of these daemons generate messages similar to this:

    app_name: ERROR- Failed to initialize policy manager. (IFOR_PM_FATAL)

Under normal circumstances, ifor_pmd will restart automatically if the
ifor_pmd, ifor_sld, or sco_cpd daemon terminates. Use ps(C) to verify that
these daemons are running. If you determine that they are not running, log
in as root on the override device (/dev/tty01 or /dev/console by default)
and enter ifor_pmd. Rebooting the system will also restart ifor_pmd.

好象没什么用啊，还是要谢谢你。

root    56    50  0 08:22:35       ?    00:00:00 /etc/sco_cpd
root    57    50  0 08:22:36       ?    00:00:00 /etc/ifor_sld
    尽管kill掉，重起进程或重起机器，问题依然存在。
   还有没有其它方法，我已经找了一天的问题，嗨，到最后还是一头雾水。

今天UNIX道是没有什么提示，但又少了进程。

     这是为什么？？？
