How to use the multithread in Robocode UI design

The Multithread technology is widely used in the UI design of computer games, Now i need to write an article abt the UI managerment in Robocode game design.
I read through the source code of the Robocode. There defined a lot of manger ,which intergrade the game very good. If somebody also works on the robocode and did a lot of research on the UI design, could you tell me the details you got from the game.
