Senior Software Engineer

Summary
The ATSG Validation and Delivery team works under the CTO office, and deliver advanced technology solutions to be leveraged by professional service and solutions team.  We are seeking Software Engineers who are resourceful, independent, and a self-starter who wants to work in a high paced, fast learning, team environment.  A successful candidate will need to have knowledge about product software development/test life cycle and must be passionate about delivering high quality solutions within the demands of deadlines.  The candidate will be a recognized technical resource for other team members, identify and address complex problem

Responsibilities
  Follow development processes and standard procedures using Iterative development approach
  Review, analyze and provide feedback on product requirements, architectural design and functional specifications.
  Design, development and maintenance of automated test suite for ATSG solutions.
  Assist in the definition of strategy, requirements and supporting environment for the validation and delivery team.
  Creating, documenting, and implementing procedures related to builds and deployments.
  Create and maintain automated build systems, integrate build/test/release processes, and control deployments to multiple environments. .
  Strong technical and programming/test automation skills, and have experience testing enterprise-class system software packages.

Qualifications
  Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in software testing/development environment.
  Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  Experience in Linux/Unix administration, knowledge about file system and Linux kernel is a plus
  Strong experience in Java, knowledgeable in Groovy is a plus.
  Experience with Web platforms and technologies, J2EE, and XML are essential.
  Solid knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
  Sun Grid Engine
  Application and DB management
  Grid computing
  Data Integration and Processing
  VMWare
