垃圾文件

请问在AIX系统中,是不是也会产生垃圾文件,就象WINDOWS一样,内存会被占用!
怎么识别它们呢,有没有统一的后缀呢?

the trash file maybe exist in the aix system ,
but this is not important,
no one will cancel the trash file to put the system in adventure just for cleaning up the system .

unless you konw what file is trash,you can cancel it. for example :the file in the /tmp.
if not ,you'd better don't cancel them.

系統的紀錄檔會隨使用時間漸增，如smit.log，smit.srcipt，core 等
其他有一些管理檔案，如果長太大亦可以清除例如
˙/usr/adm/cron/log
˙/usr/adm/wtmp
˙/usr/adm/pacct
˙/usr/adm/messages
˙/usr/adm/acct/nite/*
˙/usr/adm/dtmp
˙/usr/adm/qacct
˙/usr/adm/acct/sum/*
˙/usr/adm/acct/fiscal/*
˙/etc/utmp
˙/etc/security/failedlogin
另外”errclear 0”可以清除系統的error log 或者 透過skulker 定期清理一些不必要或過期的檔案

AIX provides a general system cleanup script called skulker located in the /usr/sbin directory. Before
attempting to run the skulker command, look at the skulker entry in the product documentation. Read the
script for details to determine what files it will delete and what time frame it will allow files to exist before
deletion.
skulker may be run as a cron job using the following crontab entry:
0 3 * * * /usr/sbin/skulker
Consider limiting the errlog by the running these entries in cron:
0 11 * * * /usr/bin/errclear -d S,O 30
0 12 * * * /usr/bin/errclear -d H 90
/etc/skulker 是一個shell script，用來清除系統裡一些不必要，或者過期的檔案。AIX 使用者的crontab
包含了該程式，讓系統在特定固定的時間定期來清除系統裡面部分的檔案。通常在crontab 裡面都是備
註解起來。如果未經修改的skulker 會清除如下的檔案：
—舊的primary.ouputs 檔案，例如，/var/spool/qdaemon 底下的檔案
—舊的gdir 檔案
—遺留在郵件佇列中的檔案
—/tmp 中24 小時內未曾存取，修正的檔案
—/var/tmp 中24 小時未曾存取，修正的檔案
—/var/news 中超過45 天未曾讀取的新聞檔案
—*.bak，a.out，core，proof，gally，﹍等檔案
—.putdir 目錄中24 小時內未曾存取，修改的檔案
可以根據系統環境以及需要來修改skulker，自動地清除系統裡面不需要的檔案。
