mysql创建错误

我在安装 mysql-5.0.51b时
#./configure --prefix=/usr/local/mysql
#make
#make install
#cp ../mysql-5.0.51/support-files/my-large.cnf /etc/my.cnf
#/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_install_db --user=mysql

于是出现下面的报错：
FATAL ERROR: Could not find /usr/local/masql/bin/my_print_defaults

If you are using a binary release, you must run this script from
within the directory the archive extracted into.  If you compiled
MySQL yourself you must run 'make install' first.
请问有谁知道是什么原因阿？my_print_defaults在/usr/local/mysql/bin/里，怎么会出现/usr/local/masql/bin/呢？

注：刚才我想起一个情况，我原先装过一次mysql，那时./configure --prefix=/usr/local/masql（make,make install都完成了)；后来我发现错了，就把/usr/local/masql用rm -fr 删除重新安装
    是不是我没有删干净得原因呢？需要怎么改？

export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/mysql/bin

这步 是不是错输成 /usr/local/masql 了

其实不运行mysql_install_db也可以的，你直接将另外一个数据库的$data/mysql整个文件夹拷贝到你现在的$data/下面就可以了。
