run level differrent

Hi all,


         I am a beginner of solaris. what is different if we are in different level.What I try to say is that can we issue all commands working in level 6 also working in level 0(ok prompt?)?  Thnks ....

There is no Solaris OS commands available at ok prompt.

Level 6 will stop the OS and reboot to the state defined by the initdefault entry
in /etc/inittab. If your system has this line in /etc/inittab:
is:3:initdefault:

you would be able to run all commands of the OS.

you mean I can not issue command like ls-l, more , ps -ef, ...tis kind of command in OK prompt?

How about
"setenv auto boot false, set-default or reset" All this is not the solaris command

is there any folder like /etc/commsnd  that can I know what command i can run in my solaris?
