哪位仁兄有linux c程序通过http访问web server(文件下载)方面的资料啊

linux c程序通过http向web server发请求，web server端响应这个请求
举例就是：通过c程序发个取文件请求给web server,web 端做出响应，并生成相应的文件，是不是可以通过http来把文件取过来？
有没有这方面的资料

先用nc 手动实现整个过程，然后，把nc的链接部分，用自己的socket代替
