Systems Analyst

Key objectives
1.        Analysis of new business requirements
2.        Creating of system specifications according to new business requirements
3.        Creating / maintaining of system documentation (description of system modules,  functionalities,  logical data model,  relation to business processes documentation, etc.)
4.        Close cooperation with Process Department
5.        Cooperation with testing team (especially preparation of testing strategy)
6.        Understand and propose systems solution to business users
7.        Provide details and manage the schedule and deliverables of system development team
Duties and responsibilities
1.        Responsible to understand, collect and analyze business requirements
2.        Analysis of current and new system components and propose systems solution
3.        Responsible to create and maintain system design and specifications
4.        Participating in creating and enhancing application systems internal methodologies (e.g. system documentation methodology, change request and release management)
5.        To become specialized in one or more system areas
6.        Provide application support to users and answer users’ queries on the areas of the application assigned
7.        Work with Testing team to support user testing
8.        Work with Testing team on release and patch management
9.        Participating on core system documentation creating / maintaining
10.        Analysis system training needs of business users
11.        Conduct systems training to new and existing staffs in the application areas responsible
12.        Support of business users on critical production issues
13.        Responsible to manage user change request on application areas responsible
Requirements
Education/Experience
1.        Previous experience in Banking and Finance industry, preferably in Consumer Finance
2.        University degree in Information Technology or comparable education
3.        7+ years hands on experience in multinational enterprise application systems deployment and maintenance
Required skills
1.        Strong experience in system analysis (UML, OOP) in retail banking and/or consumer loans systems
2.        Experience and knowledge in case-tools (like PowerDesigner, Enterprise Architect, Select Enterprise, MS Visio, …)
3.        Overall knowledge about IT technologies and it’s usage (especially Web Application servers – BEA, IBM WAS, etc.; Databases – Oracle)
4.        Excellent Chinese and English oral and written communication skills. Experience working in Foreigner Company preferred.
5.        Interpersonal (team oriented) communication and presentation skills.
6.        Outstanding analytical skills
7.        Ability to handle stress and to work under time pressure
8.        Willingness to work with on-call duty
