1. Senior Software Engineer- Finding-Merchandising
Primary Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly motivated lead engineer for a Senior Software Engineering position responsible for architecture, product design, and development in the Finding-Merch development team. This position requires the candidate to work closely with product management, other development teams, operations and the quality assurance team. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter and team player, a strong driver for results and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include development and support for worldwide projects throughout all phases of the development cycle.
- Work with product owners and other engineers to define, design and implement complex, multi-tiered distributed software applications

Job Requirements

This is an opportunity to in one of the most challenging development organizations in eBay. The Systems group is looking for software engineers to help design and develop tools to ensure eBay's scalable infrastructure is reliable and up to the task of handling ever-increasing load. This role involves working with development teams through the entire software life-cycle. At product design time, you will focus on designing for reliability, working out interfaces with functional code, and designing tools to ensure reliability. During product development and rollout, you will work with Systems development teams on functional code and the tooling to ensure its reliability.

Responsibilities include:

Staff BI Engineer

Primary Job Responsibilities

The Staff Engineer is a senior role reporting to the Development Manager of IMD China and work in the China Development Center in Shanghai. The Staff engineer will work closely with the US counterparts in developing and managing one of the most complex and existing BI environments in multi-cluster setup for MicroStrategy 8, ensuring the reliable performance and availability in a 24x7 environment for a worldwide user community.


Responsibilities will include:

* Supporting the MicroStrategy 8.x Platform, and implementation of MicroStrategy enterprise-wide
* Design, develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) reports for different projects
