安装Tomcat的问题

但目前在里面给定的页面中已经无法找到"JDK US DST Timezone Update Tool - 1.3.0"，那这个应该从哪里找到？

老大，你不仔细看我的描述，我不是看不懂英文，好歹也是和老外在一起工作过的，关键是里面给出的那个链接中已经无法找到那个需要的东西了。
好像以前安装OpenOffice时也遇到这个问题，SUN网站上只有这一软件包的新版本，但Ports是不认的；后来只好听别人的劝直接下载了一个已经编译好的OpenOffice2.4安装了。

没用的，装了JDK和JRE之后Tomcat还是无法通过ports来安装，而FreeBSD服务上也没有现成的包。

我想说更新port的，ls抢先了。还可以试试pkgsrc，netbsd的那个，在fb下也可以用。

以前qemu也遇到过这种问题，最后手工删除了用cvs更新才解决问题。

我一直不明白为什么原来正式发布的ports collection就不能用了？这样不是强制使用的人总要使用最新版本吧？这样自己玩还可以，但在实际的工作环境中却不可行的，真正有配置管理的公司绝对不允许这种随意的升级软件环境的。

更新Ports暂没测试，因为这个内部的服务器希望能和网站服务器上的软件配置保持一致。

今天才搞清楚原来Apache Tomcat是一个独立的服务器，原来我还一直以为它象PHP一样和Apache结合在一起，土了一把。不过试了一下在Windows上OK，安装了JRE直接startup就可以了，而JRE_HOME配置如果有问题就会报错（不支持空格路径，比较水）；但在FreeBSD下直接下载Binary的Tomcat运行里面的startup.sh没有任何错误提示，也不运行，有点郁闷：

Using CATALINA_HOME:   /usr/local/opt/apache-tomcat-6.0.18

Using JRE_HOME:       /usr/local/diablo-jre1.6.0/

JRE_HOME是我自己设置的，如果不设置缺省是/usr/local，结果也是一样的。
