Responsibilities:

Asuccessful candidate will work with local team members & colleagusin different time zones to support on-going Solaris test activities,and interact with US based product and development teams.

- Developing, maintaining and executing Solaris product test suites using C and scripting languages.
- Analyzing and debugging kernel and application level anomalies and interactions.
- Communicating interactively and effectively with English-speaking team members in different time zones.

Requirements:

- BSCS/EE
- Knowledge of software testing methodology, test plan and test assertion development.
- Experience in test development and test execution.
- Strong analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills.
- Proficient in Unix (Solaris preferred) operating system configuration and performance optimization.
- Broad knowledge of Unix tools and common scripting languages.
-Knowledge of Unix kernel concepts, such as file systems,multithreading, memory management, process scheduling, and file systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Fluent in English communication.

transfers, next generation interrupt framework development, and
development of the IO fault management architecture.

Required knowledge:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Prior
course-work in Software Programming, Operating System design and
Computer architecture.
Must have strong C programming language skills.

Preferred knowledge:
Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Prior experience developing device drivers or operating system
internals.  Understanding of the Unix operating system.
