Arcserver 备份oracle! 急!

我已将archive log file 的格式改为：
log_archive_format = "ARCWEBDB%s.log"，但是不行。难道一定要用你
所用的格式：ARC%S.%T?
我用的是两个JOB 来备份数据库，一个备份DATAFILE，一个备份archive log。

那你就改成我那种格式试试，文档上好像Oracle Agent只认这种格式。

我试过了，必须用一个job备份datafile 和archive，不能用两个job!

ARCSERVER和ORACLE并不是很好，建议用rman比较好，Arcserver里有rman的接口，基于文件级的备份好像很傻，对于9以上的数据库......

To check whether ARCserve really backup the ARChive log or not, you can go restore view, try to expand the ARChive log icon. If you could see the files under ARChive Log icon, that means the ARChive logs really get backuped by ARCservie.

But I doubt, because the your log format is wrong. You need to change the log format to LOG%s_%t.ARC.

The reason is Oracle Agent expects to see two number in the ARChive log file. For example, LOG12_34.ARC is right.
