The MTC (Mobile Technology Center) Multimedia team in ATC Beijing is looking for a Senior SDET to help take our team to the next level. As a Senior SDET, you will be a leader driving technical innovations in test team. Your responsibilities include defining test strategy and quality metrics for the products, writing test plans and test specifications, developing flexible automation test framework used by other SDETs. You will work closely with program management and development team to define and design the features and functionalities. You will also be responsible for reviewing feature and design specifications, driving overall quality of the product to deliver breakthrough multimedia experiences to Windows Mobile users.

Qualifications:

1.A proven track record of shipping quality and scalable software

2.A proven track record of leading a team throughout one complete product cycle

3.Excellent organizational, communication and motivational skills

4.A deep understanding of software development process

5.A demonstrated knowledge of Windows application development in C/C++

6.Strong coding, debugging and problem solving skills

7.Good verbal and written communication skills in both Chinese and English

8.A BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required

9.Good working knowledge of test methodologies and techniques are desired

10.Self-motivated and likes taking on challenges

11.Ability to ramp up on new technologies

12.Experience with application development on Windows Mobile platform is preferred

13.Experience with DirectShow and other multimedia technologies are preferred

The Advanced Technology Center (ATC) located in Beijing, China is looking for a talented and highly motivated software developer to build the next generation Internet Explorer on Microsoft Windows Mobile platform. Your work would help enable the maximum potential of Web experience of mobile devices.

As a developer in this team, you will be working on Mobile IE related technologies, and working closely with our program management and test teams in both Beijing and Redmond on creating innovative features, building end-to-end user experiences, and driving product development from conception to release.



Qualification
Passion for technology and innovation
Solid computer science background
Strong design/coding/debugging skills
Strong learning and problem solving ability
Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
A track record of high performance as well as a good team player
Proficiency in C++/C and COM/DCOM is required
Proficiency in Web related technologies, like XHTML/CSS/AJAX, is required
Experience in Web browser development is a big plus
Experience with Windows Mobile platform or other embedded systems is a big plus
A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical equivalent is required, and MS degree is preferred

The Mobile Technology Center is an extension organization of Mobile Communication Product Group located in Beijing and a key pillar of the China Research and Development Group.  We are focused on building the next generation the Windows Mobile platform and key Mobile applications. We are also invested in a couple of high impact commercialization efforts.

The Mobile Technology Center is looking for a talented and highly motivated experienced development leader to drive building the next generation Windows Mobile platform, cultivate regional innovation and market adaptation for the largest mobile subscriber market and consumer market in the world.  We are working on mobile projects ranging from Cellular Networking, Mobile input platform, Multimedia, Mobile IE and all the way to innovative consumer oriented solution pack and emerging market product.

As part of the leadership team in MTC, you will be leading a team of talented, energetic engineers in working closely with our program management and test teams in both Beijing and Redmond, on producing cutting edge platform/application products for WM devices that address consumer’s social/business mobile computing need wherever they go.

The successful candidate should have a proven record of accomplishment as a senior dev/dev lead/manager with experience across all phases of the engineering cycle and shipping high quality software on time. You must have demonstrated the presentation of complex architecture/design/visions to both technical and non-technical audiences at executive levels. Strong business acumen with the ability to deal with customers, internal and external partners, and form strategic alliances will be a critical success factor. The job is a great growth opportunity, providing significant cross group and executive visibility.  

Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience in designing architectures across various projects, and the ability to communicate and negotiate with internal and external partners on both a technical and business level.  

Requirements:

- At least 7 years of relevant software design, development, and shipping experience.

- Solid C/C++ coding skills.
