Adding Affinities Between Resource Groups
Prerequisites: 􀁺 At least two RGs, between which the affinities will be set, are required.
Notes: 􀁺 Affinity levels are:
􀁻 (-/+) Weak negative/positive affinity
􀁻 (--/++) Strong negative/positive affinity
􀁻 (+++) Strong positive affinity with failover delegation
Steps
1 Use the change form of the scrgadm command to set the desired level of affinity between the target resource group and the
source resource group.
# scrgadm -c -g rg_target -y RG_affinities=(level)rg_source
2 (Optional) Force the change into affect.
scswitch -Z -g rg_target
# scrgadm -c -g dbserver-rg -y RG_affinities=++appserver-rg
