请教一个ADIC S100带库驱动的问题,望高手指教.

两台HP 9000 rp5470小型机通过FC卡连一光纤交换机和一ADIC S100相连.平时可正常工作.年前从小型机2对带库操作时发现机械臂2不能正常工作.通过IOSCAN命令发现带库的驱动由原来的ATDD变成了STAPE,重装带库驱动和软件老报错说驱动已存在,但在另一台小型机上对带库操作功能都正常.本人对ADIC知晓不多.就知道要磁带机正常工作在HP-UX内核驱动中得有STAPE,SCHGR等相关驱动.通过对比小型号机1,和2的内核驱动配置.发现除了在小型机2中无ATDD外两小型机器内核配相同.下面是安装的一些信息.望高手指点.:

机械臂不能工作和driver驱动有啥关系？重新mknod。要用attd驱动的话，运行/opt/atdd/bin/atdd_claim。

IBM ATDD includes two DLKMs, one is atdd for IBM tape drive, the other one is acdd for IBM tape changer. For ADIC tape library with IBM LTO drives, you need to response the question to no ("N") because the changer is ADIC, no IBM.

However, the changer driver of acdd will claim IBM tape changer only even though you answer "y" if HP-UX native tape changer (schgr) is loaded in the kernel.  

Run # ioscan -funC autoch   to see if the changer is claimed with acdd. If so, run # lsdev -c autoch to find if the schgr driver is loaded into the kernel (schgr is out by default). According HP design, the device is claimed with the driver which is only one in the kernel even though the driver doesn't want to claim it.

Re-install ATDD and answer "n" for the above question. If the schgr is out, load it in the kernel running the sam and reboot the system.
