RHEL5.1 i386下安装 informix IDS 11.5安装问题（已解决）

RHEL5.1 i386下安装 informix IDS 11.5,装了个demo,然后初始化出现如下提示,请问如何解决

oninit -ivy

WARNING: server initialization failed, or possibly timed out (if -w was used).
Check the message log, online.log, for errors

我配置好
  /etc/services
       8887   sqlexe/tcp
       8888   sqlexec/tcp

/etc/hosts
     192.168.1.7     db  # db 是hostname


$INFORMATION/etc/sqlhosts
      toray              onipcshm        db       sqlexe
      toray_tcp       onsoctcp         db       sqlexec


onconfig
     DBSERVERNAME    toray                  
     DBSERVERALIASES toray_tcp
     NETTYPE         ipcshm,1,8,CPU
     NETTYPE         soctcp,1,8,NET


oninit -ivy可以成功完成！

但现在问题是 tcp/ip就没有起来。共享内存方式可以
用 netstat -an 查看，没有linsten 192.168.1.7:8888

请问这个是什么问题？该如何解决？

看提示是共享内存没有起来,一个可能出现问题的原因是 IDS 中的通讯函数与系统提供的通讯包产生的冲突,出现这种情况请与 IBM 公司取得联系.

修改/etc/sysctl.conf文件
增加一行kernel.shmmax=3221225472 （单位字节，根据你自己机器内存情况填写，全做数据库用一般为内存70-80%）

其实吧~~压根没你们想的那么复杂~~把online.log也帖出来就可以看出什么问题了..

老是有人问类似问题，就是不肯贴online.log

$INFORMATION/etc/sqlhosts在SOCKET时可以直接写IP和PORT，如：
toray_tcp       onsoctcp         192.168.1.7      8888

我试一下直接写port,
不过这个应该不会是不能网络访问的问题。
