Job Responsibilities

Lead and define the business drivers and associated system capabilities and services that are required, develop the IT solutions the IT business management systems required to maintain IT value and service delivery. Analyze a client’s current IT environment and define future business and technical requirements. Analyze technical problems & create solutions involving the use of existing techniques or tools. Perform strategic analyses and develop recommendations. Must have an understanding of server consolidation or data collection tools for attaining workload and configuration data. Provide expertise to automate data collection or employ alternative collections to input empirical data into data modeling and analytics tools. Work closely with Project Management and/or IT Consultants

Job Requirements (skills/experiences)

2 years experience in Server Consolidation Methodology - Skill includes: Access to consolidation methodology´s and tools and a center of competency. Knowledge and delivery experience in Phase I (solution framing/assessment) and phase II (design) approach. Ability to work without daily guidance on Phase I and Phase II deliverables. At least 2 years experince in analalyzing cleint environments and providing solutions.
At least 1 year experience in Server Consolidation analysis (Cirba experience with ruleset design preferred) At least 1 years experience in VMWare. Ability to create high quality deliverables:
• Analysis and Strategy Document / Data Analysis Report
• Recommendations / Solution Approaches
• Detailed Design

Continued from Required Skills: Detailed Design (Document Hardware Components, Server Configuration, and General hardware related requirements; Document Networking, Storage, and Backup Strategy Models and Topology; Document migration strategy and configuration standards; Release and deployment plans; Physical Designs) 5 years experience in customer presentation and communications 5 years experience in providing onsite consulting and generating deliverables 3 years experience in either of xSereis 3 years experience in UNIX, Solaris, Intel based platforms Understanding of business case development incorporating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) metrics to measure, manage, assess risk, reduce costs, and improve overall value of IT assets.
Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing.
