Software Developer - Business byDesign (Shanghai) – 1
ByD on-demand infrastructure and cross development is hiring talent developers in China to deliver innovative ideas in topics like business configuration, life cycle management, solution flexibility, reuse components and other key areas which enables a state-of-art on demand business application.

Our wide-ranging applications are built using SAP NetWeaver® technology platform. The international teams are based in Shanghai, St. Leon-Rot and Bangalore. The development is organized in small project teams with 2~6 developers with other roles like architect, product owner, quality engineer as defined by the lean process. The teams are self managing and are empowered to make critical project related decisions, including technology choice, architecture, development plan, direct customer/partner interaction etc. In addition to these, developers are specifically responsible to deliver detailed design, to implement, test and maintain the solution.
We are looking for top notch developers to join us. On top of the excellent problem solving and coding skills, following qualifications are required:
-        At least 5+ years experience developing software products
-        Experience of development through all stages of the product lifecycle
-        Excellent design and problem solving skills
-        Excellent coding/debugging skills, experience in ABAP language is a big plus
-        Board experience in building software solution, solid understanding about object oriented design and programming, knowledge in building software on SAP NetWeaver® platform is a big plus
-        Fluent English in oral and written communication

-        Can learn new technologies quickly. You need to deal with a lot of cutting edge technologies and latest innovations from SAP ByD. Ability to learn those things quickly is key to success
-        Technical leadership. You need to proactively participate in or lead architecture design and provide valuable input for design trade-off decision
-        Creative. You need to be able to think out of box, have a good instinct with technology and customer needs, is able to come up with original solutions to solve the unspoken customer issues
-        Great at team work. The project team is self organized, not assigned. You need to work with different people over the time to make your project successful. Manages will provide guidance, but you’ll need to figure out the most effective way to work with others, and steadfastly push yourself and others to the success. You also need to collaborate with partner teams and community developers to make the maximum impact
-        Can handle ambiguity and be very pragmatic. There will be lots of unknowns. It is your tasks to turn these unknowns to be predicable plan, and make solid progress towards the goal day to day
-        Not only do you need to dream big, but also be realistic
-        Excellent customer focus. The success or failure is finally based on the customer feedback. It is critical that developers can not only implement the ideas but also be able to reliably measure how ideas work or don’t work, and make prioritization and trade off decisions based on such understanding
