Job summary:

As a member of audio codec team of Magnum Semiconductor, the successful candid

ate will be developing embedded software for Magnum’s highly successful syste

m-on-chip (SoC) silicon solutions used in a wide-variety of media processing a

pplications.  The position offers tremendous opportunity to work on the core t

echnology of a highly integrated multi-media processor with a group of energet

ic, dynamic and talented engineers around the globe.

Job description:

Being one of our core firmware design team members, your will be asked to  des

ign/implementation/testing/debugging/maintaining of advanced audio processing

software and software framework components on different Magnum's SoC solutions

, using a combination of Assembly, C, and C++ programming languages. Objective

s include supporting our Tier-1 customers for their mass production schedule,

implementing new feature requests on the existing silicon as well as developin

g next generation multi-media products on both A/V encoder/decoder/transcoder

applications.

Requirements:

       Candidate must have a Bachelor/Master or PHD degree in Electrical or
Computer Engineering with 1+ year working experience.  

        Strong communication skills, problem solving skills, work well with
people and have the ability to work and learn in a fast paced environment are

the key requirements.

      Experience with C programming, real-time system programming, video/a
udio/image/signal processing, digital signal processing algorithm design, MPEG

standard, and exposure to embedded software design would be beneficial.  

      Previous audio codec experience would be a big plus.
