Title: System Administrator

Responsibilities:



Responsible for managing and maintaining the EMC APJ Partner Enablement Program website. Oversee the server and application environment for user access, application rollout, bugs and fixes, and modifications . Coordinate with the application and server vendor for system upgrades and maintenance. Responsible for ensuring the application and data backup and security. Perform programming, scripting, developing HTML contents and small in-house applications. Perform database cleanup, update, archive and maintenance. Coordinate with web content owners/providers in updating the website. Conduct project management of new systems and updates/upgrades of existing systems. Provide assistance to website users on how to use the application. Network infrastructure administration / support / troubleshooting.



Education:

- 4 year degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS).

- Knowledge of business functions is also important

- Knowledgeable on Project Management



Application Knowledge and Skills:

- Operating systems: Windows Environments, Linux,

- Programming: HTML, SQL, MS Access, MS Excel Macros and Scripting

- Network: Knowledge in supporting LAN and WAN networks. Trouble shooting LAN environments

- Technical Writing: Creating user manuals, workflow, process guides, etc.

- Language and communication: Speaks and writes English and Chinese fluently and clearly

- Drive and desire to learn new skills and technologies

- Great communication and organizational skills

- Willing to take up system administration "hands-on" responsibilities
