a leading European semiconductor company is looking for an Senior Optical IC Field Application Engineer(FAE) to be based in Shenzhen, China, to help them achieve design-ins and design-wins. The successful candidate provides technical support for Transport/Datacom products at Huawei Shenzhen as the main task, and provide general customer support for timing products in China.

The ideal candidate should

1. have good Chinese and English communication skills
2. Have hardware engineering background with embedded software programming
3. 4-7 year working experience in optical product (ideally 2-3 years technical support experience).
4. Related technical expert in TIA, Driver, modulator, SerDes, Transponders, Clock, DWDM, optical transceiver product and applications IP, UDP, & Ethernet. IEEE1588, Telecoms networks & standards knowledge would be a plus
5. previous Huawei, ZTE, Fiberhome and WTD technical support for 2.5
G/10G SerDes(Mux/Demux) product support experience is a plus
6. Ability to generate scripts, design test systems, write/edit firmware in ‘C’ & ‘C++’ is a plus
7. Telecom box building knowledge is a plus
