Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or computing related discipline
Preferred:
• Master's degree in Computer Science

Minimum:
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise Java applications.
• At least 3 years’ experience of hands-on development experience using Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• At least 2 year of Spring MVC or Struts hands-on development.
• At least 2 years experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG).
• Experience with CVS or other version control systems.
Preferred:
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing enterprise Java applications.
• 3-5 years object-oriented software engineering experience.
• 1 year of Maven 2 experience.
• Prior experience integrating with web-based services.
• 1-2 year of Spring Web Flow hands-on development.

The Primary job responsibilities for this role are as listed below:
• Java (Spring, Spring Web Flow) and Web (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) development.
• Translate designs from the Creative team into fully functioning web flows.
• Build out new capabilities (improve monitoring/alerting, system resiliency, refactor the domain model) in the Order Path system. This requires OO design skills and experience with mission critical services.
• Write high quality unit and integration tests to validate software.
• Work with QA engineers and testers to identify software defects
• Debug the Order Path service to resolve issues.
• Interact with peers, business stakeholders and program management regarding overall product design
• Development environment is Java, Spring, Spring Web Flow, Web Services and Web technologies.
• Communicate with Seattle Team Lead/PGM to understand new projects and relay info to other team members.
It will be a big plus if the candidate has understanding and proficiency in some or all of the following tools/frameworks:
• Tomcat
• Mocking frameworks
• Maven 2
