To create a raw device, configure a block device (hard disk) with a raw
interface. The storage space that the device provides is called raw disk space.
A chunk of raw disk space is physically contiguous.
The name of the chunk is the name of the character-special file in the /dev
directory. In many operating systems, you can distinguish the characterspecial
file from the block-special file by the first letter in the filename
(typically r). For example, /dev/rsd0f is the character-special device that
corresponds to the /dev/sd0f block-special device.
今天在IDS admin guid看到这么一句话,为了避免断章取义
我将全文摘录下来
这句话感觉是错的
“The name of the chunk is the name of the character-special file in the /dev directory”
从网上弄来一个经典的的onspace命令
onspace -c -d workdbs -p /dev/rdsk/0s2 -o 100000 -s 100000
onspace -c -d tmpdbs -p /dev/rdsk/0s2 -o 200000 -s 100000
onspace -a workdbs -p /dev/rdsk/0s2 -o 100000 -s 100000
同样一个设备名称
/dev/rdsk/0s2
请问对应哪个chunk呢? |
