        朋友最近在国内，他是西部数据亚太地区的技术支持一位负责人，需要各招一位PHP和mysql的高手，要求3年以上开发经验，会简单英文交流对话，工作地点：上海。有机会去美国培训，偶尔会出差到马来和泰国（因为西部数据的工厂在那边），有感兴趣的朋友可以发简历到Li.Yi@wdc.com，最好在4月24日之前。

WD Shanghai Data Mining Web Front-end (PHP) Development Engineer

Western Digital China (Shanghai) is looking for a high-caliber software engineer to maintain and improve a best-in-class web-based internal data mining system for low-cost and high-volume productions of hard disk drives. Working with a small development team, the developer(s) will use the latest Web 2.0 technologies to play an important role in WD’s high-efficiency operations. The job will have many opportunities to travel to US and factories (Malaysia and Thailand) for training and internal user support.

Job Descriptions:

The job includes but is not limited to the following tasks:

        Survey, architect, design, develop, test and maintain a WD intranet web site (PHP/MySQL based) for the best-in-class usability and engineering intelligence to support tens of millions of hard drives production per quarter.
        Produce clean HTML/CSS code that is cross-browser compatible.
        Develop and maintain PHP code for user-friendly dashboard with dynamic content drilldowns. Develop new features, feature improvements, and bug fixes as required
        Take ownership of your work and grow in your position, and help with general IT support tasks in WD Shanghai office as needed

Job Requirements:

-        3+ years experience in PHP and MySQL development in top tier Internet companies. Must be expert level in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Flash and AJAX skills are big plus.
-        BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Management.
-        Fluent in English. Great team work spirit and communication skills (in English and Chinese). Comfortable in working with multi-culture multi-discipline teams to resolve issues with win-win solutions. Can also work independently to get assigned job done. Results oriented.
-        Must be able to work independently and effectively in China with remote WD San Jose and factory (Thailand, Malaysia) teammates in different time zones.
-        Willing to learn broad aspect of complicated hard disk drive manufacturing and testing system
-        Hands on experience in installing, configuring and maintaining Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP packages.
-        Working knowledge of MySQL stored procedures, triggers, indexes, table normalization and database design.
-        Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices. Hands on with version control software (subversion).
-        Willing to travel to US design centers in Silicon Valley and Lake Forrest for trainings. Willing to travel to Malaysia/Thailand for factory user support.
